Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Search and Rescue

The newly elected members of the school council decided that they wanted to raise some money for a local charity.  Many great charities were put forward but the children decided on Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Search and Rescue.  The school council members organized a cake sale at the school's annual Halloween disco. They raised a whopping £114.55.  The Search and Rescue team members, Jenny and Graham came to school to receive their donation and also talk to the children about the work the charity does.  The team members brought the rescue vehicle which the children were allowed to explore.  A good time was had by all!!
